“Madison can trace its beginnings back to the late 1700s. What is now the multi-lane highway through Madison was only a bison trace when famed long hunters Thomas Sharpe “Big Foot” Spencer and Kasper Mansker trod that path between what is now Sumner County, Tennessee and the Big French Lick on the Cumberland River.”
“Madison is a neighborhood in northeast Nashville, in the U.S. state of Tennessee. It is incorporated as part of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County.”
