I’m a former member of AFF. I know for sure that there are real women on the site. I dated a very well known member, and corresponded with the “former” owner/CEO Andrew Conrue. There were some email phishing bots on the site, but many people there are genuine. The nature of the site lends itself to scams so I recommend you carefully scrutinize the people you contact. There were technical problems with the website, but I recieved free months of membership, and upgrades for compensation. The company changed hands some months ago, so I don’t know how it is now, but I have seen more agressive marketing.

I have married guys send face shots – duh. you don’t even know me yet and you trust me on the first email? If you are that indiscreet, why should I trust you to keep our affair a secret? Oh, and I hate getting pictures of someone’s anatomy, I won’t reply to those either.
To those men who have complained that they didn’t meet any real women, I’m sorry you feel that way. Obviously you had unrealistic expectations or you did one of the No No’s I mentioned in the previous paragraph. Continue reading
