According to Rosenberg, Murray had just two significant romantic relationships in her life. The very first, a short one, had been with a counsellor at a W.P.A. Camp that Murray attended in 1934. The 2nd, with a female known as Irene Barlow, who she came across at Paul, Weiss, lasted nearly 25 % of a hundred years. Rosenberg defines Barlow as Murray’s “life partner, ” although the set never lived into the exact same home, only periodically resided in the exact same town, and left out no communication, since Murray, otherwise a pack rat, destroyed Barlow’s letters.
